The Friday Feast ~ December 7th, 2018

Wow. It's been almost a year since I published a Friday Feast. Remember those articles? The Friday Feast was my opportunity to spread the love by linking to other content in the community I genuinely loved.

I stopped because they were my least popular posts.

But, I'm going to try this again. I've discovered lately that blogging isn't just about publishing popular stuff. It's also about just...publishing what you want. And, I love spreading the love, so I'm going to do it again.

Here's what's up in the personal finance community

Here we go! A few of my favorites from the personal finance community.

Financial Independence, Retire Early or Retire Ever by Life Zemplified - "Today, I’m a believer and pusher of FIRE. And yes it can become addicting."

Create a mindful money mindset when life throws you lemons by The Classy Simple Life -  "I grabbed those lemons and made myself some lemonade. I fought the worry, stress, doubt, and depression and told myself there’s nothing to worry about. I told myself there’s nothing to fear. "

Managing your money like a grown-up by Personal Finance for Beginners - "As I’ve become an adult myself, I’ve realized that adulthood isn’t always so easy. Many people are still figuring the whole adulthood thing out – especially when it comes to managing money."

How to prevent your career from running your life by Beyond Your Hammock - "Working hard and experiencing stress because you’re in a fulfilling position that you enjoy but that constantly offers new challenges that you care about overcoming is one thing..."

How to survive a fall from Ph.D to poverty by Money With A Purpose - "I entered an academic market at exactly the wrong time. When I was 30, I earned my doctoral degree, got laid off from the University of California, and moved to Arizona. I tried my hand at creating a small business – it didn’t work."

    Happy Friday!
