Chase You Invest Review

Reading the investing information all over Think Save Retire is obviously inspiring but also intimidating if you're someone like me. We all know we should be investing in order to grow our money, but sometimes it feels better to rack up a ton of savings in my savings account instead.

I’m not joking when I say that I literally hadn’t invested money before I used Chase You Invest. I’d read up on it, and even set some investment goals for myself to setup a brokerage account and invest in a few mutual funds, but I just never pulled the trigger. I really wanted to see my money grow in the way that only investing makes possible… but I was nervous! Investing always seemed intimidating and like something “other” people did—people who were great at math and who don’t panic in a tense situation. Turns out, I just needed the right tool for investing. Enter: Chase You Invest.

What is Chase You Invest?

In the most simple terms, You Invest Trade is a trading platform for folks to really sink their teeth into investing. With no minimum account balance or stock trading costs, You Invest Portfolios serve as a great option to get started in the often-intimidating world of online stock investing.

That’s not to say that an experienced investor won’t be able to make use of these investment accounts with Chase Bank. JPMorgan makes every effort to be clear and user-friendly with this new trading platform, which means that it’s a great option for anyone looking to get into investing. More seasoned investors might find the Portfolio Builder feature of You Invest Portfolios to be particularly helpful!

Who will find Chase You Invest Useful?

You Invest is especially useful for those of us just beginning our investor journey. With very clear descriptions of available stock types, and low fees, this service is approachable for anyone. Additionally, they offer up to $725 when you open and fund a You Invest account with new money. So, if you’ve got money to invest, You Invest is for you.

Quality of Services

I found the entire service with You Invest to be excellent! I felt secure investing my money with Chase, as they already handle my banking. I didn’t have to worry about my information getting out there via a third party. I didn’t even have to download a separate mobile app.

My experience with Chase You Invest

I loved my experience with Chase You Invest. They make everything very clear, AND they offer free research opportunities for investment products through JPMorgan equity research. My favorite thing, though, was the You Invest Portfolio Builder tool. It made the entire investment process less intimidating.

Is there anything else I should know about Chase You Invest?

Though there are very limited fees on the You Invest platform, there are still some fees to be aware of. Additionally, you should know that there is a substantial account  minimum for the Portfolio Builder tool. You will need to have at least $2,500 in your account to use it. This tool isn’t your only option for investing, though. If you don’t want to invest that much, you don’t have to. You just won’t have access to this feature.

Top Takeaways:

  • Chase You Invest is a great tool for newcomers and seasoned veterans alike.
  • With Chase You Invest, you’ll be able to streamline your investing, get solid research, and keep all of your information in one app.
