It’s completely free to sign up as a tester. And frankly, it was incredibly simple. I was able to create an account in less than 10 seconds by signing up via Google.
After creating an account, you’ll find at least 20 available opportunities on your home screen. In our experience, all of these opportunities require you to download the mobile app to complete the test. The good news is that the app is available for both Android and Apple products.

Based on our experience with the platform, it seems like the testing opportunities come in phases. At first, when you’ve just created an account, you’ll have the opportunity to test paid games. You won’t see any physical product testing or apps.
After a certain amount of time—47 hours in our experience—additional opportunities will appear. This is where you might see testing opportunities other than games. While this phased approach makes sense, to a degree, it’s disappointing that the only offers available upon signup are games.
Testing the games involves downloading a tracked version of the app, which TesterUp provides. You’ll need to make it through several levels of the games within a specific period of time to receive the full payment. This format makes it seem less like “testing” and more like traditional paid gaming platforms.
